Blue Sea Island is a four-star, all-inclusive resort right on the beach at Kolymbia, with around 330 rooms in a main building and four annexes, several pools and an aqua park with water slides for children. It was modernised in 2022. Tsambika Beach is about 6 km away and Lindos about 27 km, so a car makes the whole east coast easy to explore.

Arriving by transfer? Choose a delivery time that leaves room for check-in, or start the rental the next morning. Check the car with our representative, fit any child seats before you set off and save the Cario assistance number. If the resort is also your return location, we collect the car there at the time agreed with you.

Easy day trips by car
- Archangelos: a traditional village about 13 minutes away, known for its ceramics and the ruins of a medieval castle above the houses.
- Seven Springs: shaded streams and a small lake about 12 minutes inland – a cool break from the beach on hot afternoons.

Driving and parking at the resort
Ask reception where guests can leave the car. On changeover days the area around the entrance is shared with coaches and taxis, so allow a few extra minutes and drive slowly near the hotel.
From the resort, the local streets lead to Kolymbia’s main avenue and the Rhodes–Lindos road (EO95), the quickest way north to Faliraki and Rhodes Town or south to Archangelos and Lindos. Return the car with the same fuel level as at collection and never drive onto sand or beaches.

How Many Days Do You Need a Car?
With all-inclusive dining and an aqua park on site, most families don’t need a car every day. Two or three rental days are usually enough: one for Lindos, one for Seven Springs and Tsambika, and one for Rhodes Old Town or Prasonisi.
