Vlycha is a straightforward nearby beach option for a morning swim or a relaxed afternoon. Parking conditions become busier in high season, so keep to marked areas and avoid blocking hotel or residential access.
Haraki and Agathi

Collecting your car in Kalathos
Bring the identification and driving licence listed in the booking confirmation. Check that each authorised driver appears in the agreement, review the recorded vehicle condition and confirm the fuel level. Keep CARIO’s contact details with you throughout the rental.
If you request delivery to accommodation or another pickup point, the location and time must appear in the confirmed booking. Do not leave the car or keys at an unapproved place when returning it.

- Expect narrow streets in villages and more traffic near Lindos in summer.
- Use designated parking and do not block entrances or bus stops.
- Keep to paved or authorised roads; underside and off-road damage is excluded from cover.
- Return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel as at collection.
Rental conditions to check before booking

Ferrying the vehicle away from Rhodes or driving it outside Greece is prohibited. If an accident, damage or mechanical problem occurs, stop safely and contact CARIO immediately.

Can the car be delivered to my accommodation?

Is a second driver allowed?
Yes, but only when that person is named in the rental agreement and meets the same age and licence requirements.
What fuel level should I return?
Return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel it had when collected.
Can I extend my rental?
Contact CARIO at least 24 hours before the scheduled end. Any extension is subject to availability and requires written authorisation.
Rent a car in Kalathos with no excess or deposit
NO EXCESS – NO DEPOSIT. Comprehensive insurance is included with no excess and no security deposit for the first eligible damage incident, subject to the stated insurance exclusions.
A €25 administration fee applies to every damage file. Damage by an unidentified third party is charged in full and does not count as the first eligible incident. For a second or subsequent damage incident, collision damage is not covered and a refundable security deposit may be required.
All authorised drivers must be at least 23 years old, hold a valid driving licence and be named in the rental agreement. EU, USA, Australian, Canadian and Russian licences are accepted; an International Driving Permit is required for licences issued in other countries.
