Easy day trips by car
- Lindos: about 22 minutes north; arrive early or late in the day and park above the village – see where to park in Lindos.
- St Paul’s Bay: a sheltered bay below the Acropolis, about 20 minutes away, for a swim with one of the best views on the island.
- Lardos: about 10 minutes north, with a village square, bakeries and tavernas.
- Asklipio: a hill village about 10 minutes inland, with castle ruins and an old Byzantine church.
- Prasonisi: about 35 minutes south at the tip of the island, where two seas meet.
Driving and parking at the resort
Ask reception where guests can leave the car. On changeover days coaches and taxis share the area around the entrance, so allow a few extra minutes and drive slowly near the resort.
From the resort, the Kiotari road joins the main Pylona–Katavia road – north to Lardos, Lindos and the airport, south to Gennadi and Prasonisi. Return the car with the same fuel level as at collection and never drive onto sand or beaches.

How Many Days Do You Need a Car?
Two or three rental days are usually enough for a week at the resort: one for Lindos and St Paul’s Bay, one for Prasonisi and the far south, and a half day for Lardos or Asklipio. Choose a larger category if you travel with a buggy and beach gear, and reserve automatics early for July and August.
